The swim meet on Thursday, June 4 is at Well Community Pool, 310 W. Spring Street, Bluffton. The bus will leave JCHS at 4:30pm. Please be there by 4:25pm. (Reminder: There is NO bus home from the meet) There is road construction on HWY 1, take HWY 27 to Geneva. Turn left on HWY 116. Take 116 into Bluffton. Turn right on HWY 1. Take HWY 1 to the stop light by CVS/Medical Clinic (Spring Street), turn left at the stop light. The pool will be on your left down a long drive.
10 and under do not have practice on days of meets. 11 and over will practice until 9:15am on Thursday. Please pick up swimmers by 9:25am.
Spectators will want to bring chairs for the swim meet. Swimmers need to bring warm clothes. All Jay Swimmers will camp in the same area during the meet. The meet will begin at 6:00pm.

Swimming News
Beginning on Tuesday, June 2, Coach Cori's kids (11 and over) will begin practicing at 8:00am. Please check the daily practice schedule for ending times. Please be ready to get in the water at 8am. Coach Bev's kids (10 and under) will practice from 10am-11am. Coach Bev's kids will not have practice on days of swim meets. Please pick your swimmer up on time.
Please turn in Swim-a-thon money by Tuesday, June 2. Please place in an envelope with the swimmer's name on the envelope.
Also due on Tuesday, June 2 is the concession stand fees. The money collected will be used to purchase items for the concession stand. This will eliminate the need of weekly requests for food donations. The fee consists of $10 for the first child in the family and $5 for each subsequent child in the same family. Please place this money in an envelope with the swimmer/swimmers name on the envelope.
All families are required to work at least 2 swim meets. The sign up sheets are located on the desk as you enter the pool area. It takes many people to help our meets run smoothly.
Swimmers should bring quiet activities to play with during meets. Swimmers will not be up running around. At home meets, swimmers will be camping in the hallway outside the pool. (Swimmers are not allowed to go outside)

Parent Meeting
Welcome to the 2015 Summer Swim Season
The parent meeting will be held at Jay County High School on Thursday, May 21, 2015 beginning at 5:30pm. Please plan to attend!
Swim-a-thon will be held Tuesday, May 26. All swimmers need to continue to work on gathering pledges! We would love 100% swimmer participation.
Poco Loco will be present on Wednesday, May 27 4:30-6pm at Jay County High School for swim suit try-on and purchase. Other swim items will be available this night as well.

CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS!
Congratulations to the Jay Summer Swim Team for winning the Wabash Valley Conference Championship meet on Saturday, Jule 14th!!!
There were many new team, pool and conference records set and lots of personal best times! Great job to all the swimmers for an outstanding season.
Thanks to all the parents, guardians, grand-parents and friends who worked at the swim meet on Saturday and any other home meet this season. We cannot do it without the help from all the volunteers!
